She's a little bit of Daphne and a little bit of Velma, a touch of Betty and a dash of Veronica. In celebration of the launch of its new personality-based hotel "matchmaking service" San Francisco-based Joie de Vivre has created Yvette, the animated Hotel Matchmaker. The sharply dressed and smartly coifed icon helps potential guests find the right accommodations by "getting to know them." What kind of environment best suits you? What kind of people do you most connect with? These are the types of things Yvette wants to talk about. She's a symbol to address what Joie de Vivre feels is the most overlooked aspect of finding a great place to stay – personal preference. Smiling and enthusiastic, Yvette is a caricature with character.
